Kate Winter (she/her) is a genre-bending filmmaker working and creating in Los Angeles, CA. Kate graduated from Loyola Marymount University’s School of  Film and Television where she received an MFA in Film and Television Production with a focus on Directing Narrative Fiction. Kate is also an alumnus of the University California, Berkeley where she obtained a BA in Film & Media Studies. She has written and directed eight of her own short films and directed a TV pilot titled Two Night Stand?. She has worked as the Director of Photography on four short film projects and a music video for SUNDRESS’ upcoming single “HOLD ON ME”. Kate has also worked on two independent feature films, Hot Cheetos for Layla and Quarter, as a member of the art department. She is a huge fan of the romance genre and happy endings, and she hopes to bring both to her creative work.

 

Some of Kate's most recent directing work includes short film Until Every Last Star in the Galaxy Dies and Hungry*, the first (rom-com oriented) season of our upcoming anthology web series.
