Michaela (she/her) is a Texas-born/LA-based writer and producer with a BA in Communication Media Studies (ft. minors in Film Studies and Global Culture and Society, lest we forget), a Letterboxd addiction, and an unfailing adoration for stories filled to the brim with heart and hope. Having run the gamut of industry jobs since relocating to Los Angeles (ranging all the way from development to post-production), Michaela is a firm believer in the idea that there are no small jobs and that everyone’s voices matter. Most recently, she co-wrote short films I Love You Beary Much and Twink Death, both of which are currently in the festival circuit. ​
